according to statement -
cells generate copies of DNA during reproduction by involving several chemical processes. All these processes may have some variations while creating new DNA copies. Thus the copies of DNA generated will be similar as the process is same but may not be always identical due to variations.

Hey mate here is your answer;

Coping of DNA , called replication, occurs before the beginning of cell division. It generally produces two similar DNA molecules with similar genetic information so cells are produces are also genetically similar to each other.

But sometimes some variation appears during coping of DNA. Out of variation drastic and harmful variations cause deaths of organisms while minor and useful variations help in speciation and evolution by their natural selection and accumulation.
