DNA contains the genetic information that is carried from one generation to another..It is the “fundamental unit of heredity”..DNA is the main reason why a human gives human..a dog gives dog and not versa….DNA contains the basic information for the formation of organism and information about how to carry iut all the other metabolic process of an organism.hence DNA is passed on from generation to another by “semi conservative” form of replication..

*Asexual reproduction:

1.time efficient , requires less energy

2.found in lower organisms

3.healthy or little healthy individuals are produced

*Sexual reproduction:

1.variation,unique,organism is protected

2.seen in higher invertebrates and all vertebrates

3.very healthy individuals are produced
