Answer: No..

Explanation:let us assume to bodies A and B

Such such that A is applying force on B

Show the force applied by A on B is working on B while....

the opposite force(reaction) applied by B on A is working on A and hence we can say that this both pair of forces are working on two different bodies not on a same body

According to Newton's third law of motion - “To every action, there is always an equal and opposite reaction.

ie, If a body A exerts a force F on another body B, Then B exerts a force –F on A”

Consider a pair of bodies A and B, according to the third law.

${{F}_{AB}}=-{{F}_{BA}}$

(force on A by B) = - (force on B by A)

Thus, action and reaction forces act on different bodies, not on the same body.
