An aquarium cover is a must for anAfrican dwarf frog habitat because they are frogs, after all, and they do like to jump. In nature this isn't a problem because if they jump out of the water, they just fall back back into the water. But if they jump out of your tank and land anywhere except the water, they will die.

Explanation:
The African dwarf frog[1] is a type of aquatic frog native to parts of Equatorial Africa.[1][2] It is common in the pet trade and is often mistaken for the African clawed frog, a similar-looking frog in the same family. African dwarf frogs (Hymenochirus) are also known as dwarf clawed frogs. Their common name is obtained from their place of origin and the claws on their front legs.
