All the bodies with air flow or any other medium can produce sound. The body with vacuum and it cannot produce any sound. Sound easily passes in the air medium the wave formation decides the pitch and frequency. The sound can also travel in water bodies .

Examples:- Example to explain sound production by vibrating object in a turning fork consists of two times and handle. When it is hit with the rubber hammer the two tines starts vibrating. The back and forth motion of tines produce disturbances and surrounding air molecules.
