The different stories are told because of the different perceptions of the person writing it. So, these stories may contradict each other sometime when the perceptions of two people does not matches.
The historical events prevented which are very different with a more significant in a manner to show the nations in a favorable light. The main impression in the nation's history of the book will be higher or lesser to an extent with relevant historical events in any manner.
