yes metal reacts with hcl , h2so4, hno3 but in some cases it doesn't react with hcl, h2so4, hno3. The below given the some cases which doesn't react with hcl, h2so4, hno3:-

  • exceptional cases in which metals doesn't react with hcl:- metals which are below the hydrogen that metals doesn't react with hcl and hence they are less reactive to hydrogen.
  • exceptional cases in which metals doesn't react with h2so4:-. metals below hydrogen doesn't react with h2so4 also this is because they are less reactive to hydrogen.
  • exceptional cases in which metals doesn't react with hno3:-. platinum and pure gold doesn't react with hno3.
