1) autotrophic: which makes their own food from simple and inorganic substances like water and carbon dioxide.

2) heterotrophic : organisms which depend on other organisms to survive.

they are of three types :

i) holozoic : which includes humans that break compplex food materials injtop simple ones.

ii) parasitic : these organisms eat the dead and decaying matter.

iii) saprotrophic : these organisms depends on their host ( on/in which parasites live ) for food without killing them.
