1. a gas fills completely in the vessel in which it is kept. the particles of a gas are constantly moving in all the directions with different speed. they do not have a fixed volume and hence completely fills the vessel.
2. because of the following reasons....
a. it has a definite shape and volume
b. it has a high density .
c. it doesn't show the property of diffusion.
3.becase of evaporation. evaporation happens faster in summers day as compare to rainy season because in rainy season the water is present in air itself.
4.EVAPORATION--THE phenomenon of change of liquid into vapour at any temperature below it's boiling.
BOILING--THE temperature at which liquid changed into gas or vapour is called it's boiling.

Hello dear your answer is down
1) the force of attraction between particles of gas is negligible because of this particles of gas move in a direct does a gas fills the vessel companies in which it is kept.

2) the wooden table is a rigid object having a definite shape and definite volume since a wooden table has three basic characteristics of solid States (rigidity definite shape and definite volume )is should be called a solid .

3) on the hot summer day evaporation rate increase that is why wet clothes dry quickly in sun than in sunny day and in rainy day the evaporation ate is slow that is why it takes time it also due to humidity.

4) the differences between evaporation and boiling

evaporation

1) evaporation may occur when partial temperature of vapour of a substance is less than the equilibrium vapour pressure.

Boiling
1) Boiling is a phase transition from the liquid phase to gas was that occurs at or above the boiling temperature.

5) when evaporation occurs then that liquid absorbed All The heat from the surrounding and take it with it and we feel cool evaporation cause cooling effect because the heat transfer energy is absorbed by surrounding particles.
