2. Add 3 tablespoons of sugar to the water.

3. Mix it gently with a spoon until all the sugar is dissolved in the water.

Observation:

When water and sugar are mixed together they for a homogenous mixture that is uniform throughout. Homogenous mixtures are the mixtures in which the components mixed are uniformly distributed throughout the mixture. Some examples of homogenous mixtures are rainwater, vinegar, etc.
