cross multiplying we get,
= -3×7+5×8/8×7
= -21+40/56
=19/56
=0.33
b)13/25-4/5
simplifying into same denominator
multiplying both numerator and dinominator with 5 we get,
=13/25-4×5/5×5
=13/25-20/25
=13-20/25
= -7/25
= -0.28
