The capacitance is a measure of the amount of charge a capacitor can store; this is determined by the capacitor geometry and by the kind of dielectric between the plates.
In general in the industry a good rule of thumb is that there is about 1F of capacitance for every 150Ah capacity for a Lead Acid battery.
