Answer:

*The sum of the measures of the three angles of triangle is 180°.

Step by step explaination:

Part 1:

a) 40° + 40° + 100° =180°

(The sum of the measures of the three angles is 180°)

So this set can represent a traingle.

b)105° + 45° + 90° =240°

(The sum of the measures of the three angles is not 180° but 240°)

So this set cannot represent a triangle.

c)90° + 30° + 60° =180°

(The sum of the measures of the three angles is 180°)

so this set can represent a triangle.

d)110° + 40° + 30° =180°

(The sum of the measures of the three angles is 180°)

So this set can represent a triangle.

Part 2:

a)angle A is90°

angle C is 30°

So we have to find out third angle that is angle.(If we know the two sides of the triangle we can find the third side)

Add the two measures of the traingle and subtract it with 180:

Angle A+Angle B+Angle C=180

90+Angle B+30. =180

120 + Angle B. =180

Angle B. =180-120

Angle B. =60°

b)Angle P =45°

Angle R =65°

We have to find out third angle that is angle Q.

Angle P+Angle Q+Angle R=180

45 +Angle Q +65. =180

110 +Angle Q. =180

Angle Q. =180-110

Angle Q. = 70°

c)same formula

Angle X=70°

d)same formula

Angle P=90°

e)Angle L =Angle M =58°

So both Angle L and Angle M are of same measures that is 58°

So add 58+58=116°

180-116=64°

Angle K or you can also write Angle N

Angle K or Angle N = 64°

Hope it helps
