Cultural diversity is the diversity of people's living style , flooding, clothing, festival etc .

Religious diversity means just the presence of different religious groups of people in a society.

Actually the religious practice of people is also a part of cultural heritage of a society. But the presence of different religious groups of people make a society colourful.

Same in the case of Indian society. It is not only diversified in religious field . But it is also diversified in language, behaviour, food , dressing etc .

But Indian culture has two main characteristics. They are :
1) Multi- Culturalism
and 2) Unity in Diversity

Answer:

Yes, cultural diversity and religious diversity overlap

Explanation:

Cultural diversity is the diversity of people's living styles, flooding, clothing, festival etc. Religious diversity means just the presence of different religious groups of people in a society.

The existence of pronounced variances in religious belief and practice is known as religious variety. People outside even the smallest and most remote settlements have always recognized it. With some of the world's most intensely religious communities and cultures, India is one of the most ethnically and religiously diverse countries in the world. Many of its citizens' lives are fundamentally shaped by their relationship with religion. There are many causes, but the following are thought to be the principal ones that contribute to India's diversity: India's geographical features, such as its plains, plateaus, deserts, mountains, etc.

The long history of India, which spans from the Indus Valley Civilization to the fight for independence, has had a significant impact in shaping its diversity.
