Do dominant alleles have a higher fitness (better survival rate) than recessive alleles?

no no there's no such concept.Better chances of survival totally works on the priciple of natural selection which u ll study in evolution.In an ex. of lethality(u ll study in genetics class 12) if the mice is homozygous dominant for its coat color it dies.There are many other examples.This is a total misconception.
