Do intentions justify actions? Would you, like Horace Danby, do something wrong if you thought your ends justified the means? Do you think that there are situations in which it is excusable to act less than honestly?

Answer:

Intentions can’t ever justify actions. If intentions were to justify actions, the entire world would be thrown into a chaotic state. I would never ever, like Horace do actions and justify to suit them according to my needs. There might be situations in which we might act less than honestly, but the purpose of these actions must be to do good to others.

 ANSWER:

Yes, intentions do justify actions but if the intentions are not good or can harm people then they most certainly do not deserve justification. I might do something like Horace Donby but only to help people and to improve society's life. l might do something like Robin Hood who did wrong for good. I don't believe that there are situations in which it's excusable to act less than honesty because I believe one cannot hide truth for long. One or the other day, he/she will be forced to face the truth.
