Answer:

1. No profit or loss.

2. Shyam's profit percentage is 15 and higher than Ram's which is 10.

3. Siddharth's selling price for the chair was Rs 2000.

4. The art dealer's profit percentage is 5.

Explanation:

1. Sonu bought the toy for Rs 450 and then repaired it for Rs 50. When he sells it for Rs 500 he gets no profit or loss, as his expenses are equal to the price of the toy when he tries to sell it.

2. When Shyam buys sugarcane for Rs 1000 and sells it for Rs 1150 he earns Rs 150 and when calculated his profit percentage is 15. When Ram buys jaggery for Rs 800 and sells it for Rs 880 and when calculated his profit percentage is 10.

3. When Siddharth buys the chair for Rs 1800 and sells it for 200 more than the price he buys at. So, we add 200 to 1800 and get the answer as 2000.

4. When the art dealer bought the painting for Rs 6700 and framed it for Rs 300 his/her total expenses were Rs 7000. After that when he/she sold the painting for Rs 7350 and earns Rs 350, so we have to calculate the profit percentage. When calculated the art dealer's profit percentage is 5.
