Answer:

area of parallelogram=b*h

240=AD*CF

240=16*CF

CF=15

similarly

AB*CE=240

24*CE=240

CE=10

Answer:

CE=10 cm

CF=15 cm

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:-

ABCD is a Parallelogram in which CD=24cm and BC=16 cm and area of the paralellogram is

240 cm².

To find:-

Find the lengths of CE and CF?

Solution:-

ABCD is a Parallelogram then

Opposite sides are equal

AB=CD=24 cm

AD=BC=16cm

Area of a Parallelogram=base ×correspaonding altitude

Area of the given Parallelogram ABCD

=AD×FC=AB×EC=CD×EC

Now,

Area of the paralellogram=240 cm²

=>AB×CE=240

=>24×CE=240

=>CE=240/24

=>CE=10 cm

and

AD×CF=240

=>16×CF=240

=>CF=240/16

=>CF=15 cm

Therefore,CE=10 cm and CF=15 cm

Answer:-

Length of CE=10 cm

Length of CF= 15 cm
