Undoubtedly, melodies and music influence man’s mood. If one hears upbeat and pleasant music, one feels elated. On the other hand if one hears sad and melancholy music or song, one tends to be in somber mood.
When the writer asked George to sing a song, he immediately took out his banjo and began playing Two Lovely Black Eyes; he produced a very sad vein. As Harris and the writer joined him in chorus, they became so sad with the sad tune and tone of the song that Harris began to sob like a child and Montmorency began to howl.
Then George had to be requested to stop playing the Two Lovely Black Eyes
