People often say "We will cross that bridge when we come to it". This mean they will not worry about the particular possible obstacle until it actually happens.

For e.g., as students we feel that we won't begin to study until examinations come near. Similarly, we use this proverb to symbolise that we won't look into the matter until it happens in reality.
