Hey mate!!!
Here is your answer
Yes, during the night, photosynthesis gets shut down (since there's no light) and it will give off CO2 like us human. At night carbon dioxide is taken up from the air and used in the process of making sugars. At night, when photosynthesis does not occur - no sunlight for energy - respiration does occur, which gives off carbon dioxide just as it does in animals. On balance, though, plants take up much more carbon dioxide in photosynthesis than they give off in respiration.
That's why some people say that ppl should take the plants out of the room at night
Hope it helps you!!!

Plants Which Give Out Oxygen Even AtNight. Aloe Vera and snake plant releases plenty of oxygen at night. ... But in the night, plants lack sunlight to carry out photosynthesis and instead, their carbon dioxide output gets amplified.
