Plants may lack brains, but they have a nervous system, of sorts. And now, plant biologists have discovered that when a leaf gets eaten, it warns other leaves by using some of the same signals as animals

Plants do not have muscles and nervous systems as animals have because plants grow and move only of their tendrils.

Justifying why plants do not have a nervous system with an example:

  • Some plant life, along with the pea plant, uses tendrils to climb up different plant life or fences.
  • Those tendrils are touch-sensitive.
  • A part of the tendril in interplay with the item does now no longer develops as quickly because the part of the tendril is far from the item whilst they arrive in touch with any supports.
  • They don't have a nervous system as only humans and animals can feel the touch and sense through the nerve cells.
