Here is your solution

Let,

Car A= x kmph

Car B= x+5kmph

Given:-

They are moving away from each other

Total speed =X+x+5

Total combine speed = x+x+5 = (2x+5

Time = 5hours

Distance = 425km

we know that

Distance = speed × time

A/q

425 = (2X+5)×5

425=10x +25

400 = 10X

40 = x

Car A

x=40km/h Car

Car B

40+5=45km/h

hope it helps you

Let the speed of one car be 'x' km/hr.

Given that Average speed of one car is 5 km/hr more than that of the other.

Then, the speed of other car is (x + 5) km/hr.

Given that they are 525 km apart at the end of 5 hrs.

(i) Distance traveled by one car in 5 hours = 5x km.

(ii) Distance traveled by other car in 5 hours =  5(x + 5) = 5x + 25 km.

Now,

⇒ 5x + 5x + 25 = 425

⇒ 10x + 25 = 425

⇒ 10x = 425 - 25

⇒ 10x = 400

⇒ x = 40.

So, the average speed of one car = 40 km/hr.

Then, the average speed of other car = 45 km/hr.

Hope this helps!
