No, seeds don't travel in their own, they are taken away by certain factors like birds, wind, water, etc.
And moreover, seeds are taken away and thrown somewhere and at that place they begin to grow whether it is suitable or not.
For eg.in spore formation the spores are taken away by wind and the place where they land, they begin to grow. So here the factor is wind.
