Look the DNA has the sequence partially inherited from ur mom and partially from ur dad .... u might have heard of A, G, T and C ... So these base pairs codes for some amino acids ...

What really happens is ur DNA will undergo transcription to produce an mRNA amd this mRNA will have A, G, C, and U inplace of T . Now mRNA will undergo translation resulting in the formation of Proteins ....

DNA is partially inherited from ur mom and partially from ur dad .... u might be knowing it ... Now that DNA is having the information of how ur face will look ... about ur skin tone .... ur height ... and they will somehow resemble ur parents ..... U might have heard people saying"Oh ye to 'falana' ka larka lagta hai" . This is the reason why u somewhat look like ur parents and how DNA instructs .....

I hope it helped u ... i tried my best ... nd used as simple way as i can ....
