The definition of social media is online means of communication, used by large groups of people to share information. Social media is all about sharing info. If you put something up on a social network, it can never be deleted. All it takes is for 1 person to screenshot/forward it and it's gone. Also you can be followed by people you don't know. They could be anyone, criminals even and all they need is a computer/phone/laptop. All I can say is if you want to talk to someone talk to them, don't text them.

Social media can be bad for society because kids can go on Facebook, Twitter, etc and they begin to lose their social life. They spend most of their time on the internet, when they could be doing something productive. That is why i think that social media can be bad for people, especially kids..
