Basically, the flowers perform basic functions that have been operating to reproduce in plants.

It is acting as flower which contains both stamens and pistil called as bisexual flowers.

This includes another flower of the same plant by acting as the different plant also with same kind.

On the other hand, it developed ovule into a seed and mature ovary contains developing embryo.
