•PREACAUTIONS-
• The bulb of the thermometer should not dip in the liquid. It should be about 2-3cm above the liquid surface.
• In case of highly inflammable liquids,the heating should not be done on direct flame.
• The vapour coming through the outlet should neither be directed towards you nor directed towards any other person.
• Few pieces of pumice stone should be added to prevent bumping on boiling.
