Are X and x; Y and y different from each other? I can definitely help if you answer my question

shashankgoswami: i cant solve :( sorry
Rdeora: plz solve it
Rdeora: plzzzzzz
shashankgoswami: i dont know how to really sorry
Rdeora: okh..
shashankgoswami: but i fo think that the question is incorrect
shashankgoswami: do*
Rdeora: no.
Rdeora: it is correct
shashankgoswami: because if you equate like this x = 2y and y = 2x then you can say that x = 2(2x) = 4x. which means that x=4x and that is impossible so either the question is wrong or you posted it wrong
