Do the freshwater animals reabsorb water through their excretory system like marine animals?

No, fresh water animals do not reabsorb water through their excretory system. Marine animals do so because they need fresh water in their system to be utilised. Fresh water animals has plenty of fresh water available to them. They don't need to use their energy in reabsorbing water from excretory system
