The law of order (Commutative property) is only applied to addition and multiplication. It means that expressions can be multiplied or added in any order. However, the law of order can not be applied to subtraction because x-y\neq y-x

The law of grouping (Associative property) is only applied to addition and multiplication. It means that when you have three or more expressions, you can group them without affecting the answer. However, law of grouping can not be applied to subtraction because (x-y)+z\neq x-(y+z)
