Yes... the roots of a plant will continue to grow even if their trips are removed because the roots contain meristematic tissue which can grow for life.... hope this help

No , the roots will not grow in length if the tips of roots are removed as they contain meristematic cells but the plant will grow as the tip of stems and leaves are not removed and they contain meristematic cells. The plant will also grow in breadth as meristematic cells are also present in between barks and roots of the cells.
