In triangle APB and CQD

Angle APB = angle CQD(=90°)

AB = CD(opposite sides of paralellogram are equal)

angle APB=angleQDC(alternate interior angle as AB and CD parallel and BD be a transversal)

By AAS criteria.

Triangle APB is congruent to triangle CQD.

2.AP and CQ are equal by cpct.
