do this sum by splitting the middle term and factor theorem

6x square + 17 x +5​

Hey! mate, GOOD AFTERNOON☺

6x^2 + 17x + 5

= 6x^2 + 2x + 15x + 5

= 2x (3x+1) + 5(3x+1)

= (2x+1) (3x+1)

Factor Theorem -

2x+1 = 0

=> 2x = -1

=> x= -1/2

3x+1=0

3x = -1

x= -1/3
