Yes, I feel gender discrimination exists in our society. To justify this we can take some examples like :-
1. In today's era also we can c that a boy son reads in a good school after being weak in study and a daughter reads in a government school after being intelligent in study.
2. A girl don't get the same respect like a boy in any field.
3. Mistakes are also ignored if it is done by a boy and the same mistake is done by a girl is not ignored.

Gender discrimination: The inequality about the men and women is referred to as gender discrimination or gender inequality.

The individuals of different gender are treated in different ways.

They arise from differences in gender roles and the gender systems are dichotomous and hierarchical.

Examples:

• Women should work and also maintain household.
• They need to take care of the children while the men don't.
• Transgenders are discriminated and denied of serives and opportunities.
• Having a girl is considered to be a burden and a having a transgender is considered a shame.
• Girls are taught to cook while the boys are allowed to learn and play.
• The decisions made my women are is not valued.
• Crying is okay for girls but not for boys.
• Dowry is for the brides but not for the grooms.
• Largest unemployed people in India are women.
• Sex ratio is still low in many Indian states.
• India also has the largest number of child marriages in the world.
