Do u know why a dead body float on water?? with explanation.​

The body starts floating over water surface only after some day it remains submerged, as the water slowly get filled up in the lungs spaces. due to this the the density of the body becomes almost equal to the density of the water which makes the body float on water. This is done as the body starts decomposing after some days as a result bacteria starts decomposing the body resulting in formation of many gases and as we know that gases are lighter than water does the body floats over the water.
