• The criteria for selecting a basket ball team are the team needs to have high physical ability such as high aerobic capacity, muscular strength & power, high general athleticism; however certain psychological factors must also be considered such as each player must be confident in their own ability but eager to learn, must be intrinsically motivated, etc. Also the team must have sound knowledge of the game, understanding of basket ball concepts & strategies, defensive proficiency & commitment
