Do weight lifting affects the height ?Why?

If ua still under 18 don't go for weight lifting becoz ua height is still growing ...the brain gets diverted ....the brzin gets confused either to focus on height or the muscles....better u should go for swimming , basketball,volleyball etc which will help in height development nd muscles development too....but the height also depends on ua genes 60-80%.....der is proper balance diet for height
