Cell division is does not same in unicellular organisms and highly evolved multicellular organisms because in unicellular (single celled organism) all functions are carried out by an single cell

But in multicellular organism (multi celled organism) all fuctions are carried out by different cells.

Multicellular organisms are composed of more than one cell, with groups of cells differentiating to take on specialized functions.
