Yes ! On mostly cases Classified data are more usable than raw data because they brought us more closer to solution or objective . 
if there is time constrains  then always classified data are preferred than raw data. Classified data gives us more accurate info for objective or desired aim.
it took always time for analyst to get classified data from raw data .that can  delay of launch of any policy or product for govt. or company .

The data collected from primary and secondary sources are raw data or unclassified data. Once the data is collected, the next step is to classify them for further statistical analysis. Classification brings order in the data. It is a tedious task to get information from large unclassified data. The raw data are summarised and made comprehensible by classification. When facts of similar characteristics are placed in the same class, it enables one to locate them easily, make comparison and draw inferences without any difficultly.
