Yes, I agree that a minor mistake can cause major problems in life. Matilda's losing the fake necklace was a small mistake but it caused big problems because of two reasons. First she thought that it was an expensive necklace. And secondly she had borrowed it. So whenever we handle borrowed things that belong to others, we should be very careful. Also misplacing our own things like keys and documents can cause a lot of problems. Something as simple as a glass of water can ruin devices and gadgets that we commonly use. In that case all the important information stored in those gadgets will be lost. Similarly missing out on deadlines or reaching somewhere late can make a big difference specially in the case of exams and assignments.
