In the story, 'Kabuliwalah' by Rabindranath Tagore, the author views the kabuliwalah from distance, who is an old Afghan merchant. He was observed as mini's friend, a bringer of raisins and grapes, a singer of songs, and at last, he is arrested by authorities.

Mini's father is an author who when on his work doesn't like to be interrupted. He is very patient and loving towards his daughter. It is Mini's father who sways away mini's fear of Kabuliwalah. Through his content of the writing, we learn that he writes romantic adventures. He is a very generous and benevolent father. After years when on the day of Mini's marriage, Mini meets kabuliwalah and is shy and is pink due to shyness.

We come to know about Mini's father generosity when at last he cut down the expenses of marriage and gives money to Kabuliawalh in order to let his return to his country and meet his own daughter. Therefore, the ending od the story kabuliwala exquisitely renders the richness of ineer world of man.
