Yes, war can make people selfish, greedy and mean because

1) when there is a war between any 2 territory/nation/etc ,others also want to acquire and because of their greed they can also involve in it.

2) If 1 party(nation) has won the war they want their power to be more expanded, hence do more war because of their greedy nature.

3) If there's a war between any 2 nation/territory/etc. ,the one which doesn't want to involve in much wars also have to be involved.
