Explanation:
because they took a gud decision
Answer:
All major companies have outsourced manufacturing/assembly of all or part of their products for many years, Apple happens to be one of the last ones to implement assembly China, which is what most people think of when talking about outsourcing
Microsoft was the first High Tech company to take their operations to China, I was surprised decades ago that they could dave any significant amount of money printing manuals and stamping Windows OS on CDs/DVDs, but they assured me that they saved a huge amount of money that way
The media loves to hate on Apple so they make a big fuss of Apple performing final assembly in China, but all the other High Tech companies were already in China by the time that Apple showed up, I kew because I used to work for those companies in one way or another
Outsourcing final assembly to a country that has significantly lower labor rates and favorable shipping costs does make sense, I have been through this argument for decades and the bean counters always won that argument
Subassemblies and components are made in their country of origin, and not in China, so it also makes sense to buy those sub-assemblies instead of re-inventing the wheel and wasting money to recreate those modules, so that also makes sense
Ultimately Apple is very clever and focuses on delivering the best combination of components, raw material, integration, quality control and software for their customers
