margie and Tommy were living in the future and they had mechanical teachers as sometimes the mechanical teachers would malfunction and stop working it happened with Tommy's history teacher.. another thing is since they didn't had a building where they would go to study it was boring... the classroom was next to their bedroom where they would study and Margie and Tommy didn't like it... they thought that having a human teacher would be more interesting so Yes, I agree with Margie's preference of a human teacher
