Yes ; today's schools are more fun than the school mentioned in the story because at that time, students are taught by the mechanical teacher. The mechanical teacher is able to teach a particular subject but he does not have the capacity to understand the psychology of the child.
In today's school, children study together in one classroom. They enjoy , laugh, run in the schoolyard. They were taught by the human being who is able to understand the abilities and disabilities of the child and work to improve their disabilities. Today's school work for the overall development of the child. And also if the child is isolated then he/ she will feel depressed.
