Do you agree with the perception in our society that the women is responsible for the gender of the offspring. Substantiate your answer scientifically.

It is clearly proved by science that the offspring inherits X chromosome for mother caz women have XX chromosomes but the gender of the offspring is decided by the father caz the offspring can receive either X or Y chromosome from father so if it is X from father then offspring will be girl if Y then offspring will be boy .

So I totally disagree with the perception of our society that gender of offspring is decided by mother.
