Answer:
Yes I totally agree with it that "Disability is in the mind". It is because we are as"DISABLED"as we allow ourselves to be.
But even if a DISABLED person encourages himself that he can be independent, he can really do what discouraged persons can't.

Yes, I agree with the saying "Disability is in mind", with reference to the Poem 'Crutches' -:
- In the poem 'Crutches', poet Bertolt Brecht has put emphasis upon how the actual weakness lies in the person's disbelief and if it goes away then one can overcome his or her weakness and rather make it their strength.
- In the poem, the man has become so dependent upon the crutches that he feels that he cannot walk without them and he has become mentally more dependent than the actual physical dependency.
- Many times the fear of being incapable or not having the strength which is pure disbelief, one underestimates themselves which limits individuals from achieving their goals.
- In the poem, when the physician broke off the crutches to depict that the man no longer needed the support of crutches broke his created disability in mind. It made him realise his strength and worth.
- This poem transfers the message that one can overcome physical disability only when one has the power to not limit oneself and not let it create disbelief in their mind regarding the same. When a disability is created in mind it becomes too difficult to cure the actual problem and to not let this overpower an individual must have an optimistic approach.
