Yes, the speaker or the poet of the poem Samuel Taylor Coleridge has given a particular image of human with the comparison of the Nightingale bird.
When he and his friend and his friend's sister heard a beautiful music by the bird Nightingale, he imagined the natural joyful music in a painful life. There was a maid life where he is he worked properly and honestly sometimes they also feel about the Nightingale's music and the happiness of life. So, poet told his companions and Nightingale for a small farewell but again he will raise when he will heard the Nightingale's voice.
