Pro's of friction
Enables us to walk
Can write on paper due to friction
Vehicles move due to it
Vehicles stop due to it
Screws stay in their positions because of friction
We can pick up, hold on to objects because of friction.
Cons:
Causes wear in machines
Results in loss of energy as heat
Friction burns
Due to these, friction is called a necessary evil.
I HOPE THIS WILL WORK FOR YOU!!

Advantages of friction:
▪without friction you would slip and all every time you attempt to walk or run.there is very little friction on a wet polished floor.that is why it is easy to slip on such a floor.
▪friction causes nails and screws to hold on to walls.
▪it would not be possible to light a matchstick without friction between its head and the side of the matchbox.
Disadvantages of friction:
▪energy is wasted in overcoming the force of friction.
▪friction causes wear and tear of the parts that rub each other. Tyres of vehicles and soles of footweart wear out because of friction.even moving parts of machines wear out due to friction.
▪forest fires are caused due to friction between branches of trees rubbing against each other.
